I’m sure we’re all being more careful with the current COVID-19 situation, and are wondering how this will impact our future Meetup schedule. Both San Francisco and the state of California have declared a state of emergency, and we are evaluating how we should proceed with future meetups.

Crissy Field is scheduled for tomorrow at 11am, and we have tentatively decided to proceed with the meetup as scheduled. If you are planning on attending, please review the following:

• If you are feeling any signs of an illness (even a regular cold) please refrain from attending. There’s also a chance of rain tomorrow, so if you’re not feeling 100% don’t subject yourself to those conditions.
• Practice extreme hygiene (this should be irrespective of our event) with regular hand washing, avoid hand shakes, sanitize everything that you touch (like your phones, laptop keyboards, leashes, door handles and faucets in your home – yes I said extreme) and be extra conscious of any face touching.
• Additional guidelines can be found on the World Health Organization site.

We will continue to monitor the situation as this situation evolves, but we recommend that everyone be safe, and look out for one another – especially those that are most vulnerable.
