By RSVPing for this event and participating with your dog(s), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
- Assumption of Risk: You understand that participating in this event with your dog(s) involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical activity, travel, interactions with other participants and their dogs, and the behavior of your own dog(s). You voluntarily assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, and accept full responsibility for your participation and the participation of your dog(s).
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your participation in the event, the participation of your dog(s), or any breach of these terms.
- Release and Waiver: You hereby release, waive, and forever discharge the event organizers, hosts, volunteers, and any associated entities or individuals (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, illness, damage, or loss you or your dog(s) may suffer as a result of your participation in this event, including any claims of negligence on the part of the Released Parties.
- Responsibility for Dogs: You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the behavior and actions of your dog(s) during the event, including ensuring that your dog(s) are properly supervised and do not pose a risk to others.
- Compliance with Venue Regulations: You agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and guidelines set forth by the venue where the event is hosted. This includes, but is not limited to, leash requirements, waste disposal, and any restrictions on areas where dogs are allowed. Failure to comply with venue regulations may result in your removal from the event.
- Medical Treatment: You consent to receive medical treatment for yourself and your dog(s) in the event of injury, accident, or illness during the event and release the Released Parties from any claims resulting from such treatment.
- Photography and Media Release: You grant permission to the event organizers to use any photographs, videos, or other media taken during the event, including those featuring you and/or your dog(s), for promotional purposes without compensation or further approval.
- Governing Law: This release of liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
